Just wondered if those of you that are having cracking on the sidewalls of you tires already used tire covers on a regular basis or any of the sprays that are supposed to protect tires from UV damage? Or do you live in a part of the country where you can use your RV year round? It would be nice to know if the excessive cracking you are seeing is probably due to environmental factors because you are using your RVs more and the tires are thus exposed to more UV rays.
Thanks,

What size Goodyear tires are you getting and did you get a price yet?
I'll probably stick with the 235/80R's, but I haven't got a quote yet.
I did call Michelin back and got a little better explanation when I asked what was the point of taking them in for inspection. They said, even though they don't warranty for cracking due to weather and ozone, there's a good chance they will give me a reduction on replacement cost based on remaining tread on the tire/s. So I guess I'll at least take them in and see what their offer is. If it's not too good, then I'm still going to check on Goodyear's. Due to a trip coming up, not motorhome trip, I won't know anything until around June 8th or 9th.
