low pressure in kit sink

We spent winters in an AZ RV park where the water pressure varied a lot depending on how many people were using it and whether the well pump had just reached the high cut off pressure or was approaching the low start up pressure.

We always left the pump on and kept water in the tank. That way when the pressure went down, the pump kicked on and brought the pressure back up with water from the tank.
Nothing wrong with using water from your tank and I never blew a fuse.

Correct not to use the water pump with city water because you would be pumping it from your water tank. I would 1st remove the aerator from the faucet. That increased our flow so much I just left it out. Should just screw out. Otherwise might have to replace the faucet if the others work fine.

I had the same problem with my hot water in the kitchen. The strainer was fine (because the cold water pressure was fine). Hot water pressure was good everywhere else. I don't know precisely what the issue was, but replacing the entire fixture fixed it. I believe it had something to do with the valve in the single-lever arrangement. The new faucet was inexpensive and a nice upgrade. I got a gooseneck faucet that makes filling up pans and washing dishes easier in the relatively small sinks.

I had a problem like you........ little water came out of the kitchen faucet. The faucet had a sink sprayer attachment. The sprayer has a diverter valve and my valve stuck. The only fix was to replace the faucet.

Only use the pump after you "sterilize" the water tank. There is a proceedure for this (baking soda, I think) that might be in your owners manual. If not, ask the dealer...or even ask here. You don't want contaminated water pumping through-out your system.
Absolutely no reason to turn on the pump when hooked up to "city" water. Most likely your problem is, as mentioned before a clogged strainer. My motorhome, there is no filter to the kitchen sink. However, there is one to the goose-neck on the other sink. When new, winterizing the motorhome I had to remove the filter and install the by-pass PVC pipe. (Winterizing would kill the filter.)I never replaced the filter. All's well with 13 years of travel.

If it's only the kitchen faucet then it can only be one of two things...plugged strainer or contaminated filter. Check strainer first, as that's easiest. Then trace the water lines looking for an in line filter.....Dennis

you may have a charcoal filter under the sink. check it.
