Lug Nut source

RV wheel covers have fake chrome lug nuts except for 2 that hold the wheel cover onto the wheel. These 2 screw onto the lug.

I need several (long story) but don't know what to search for. I've determined mine (f53) are 14x1.5 flat. Anyone have a source? The ones at Camping World are all fakes---I need ones that will actually screw onto the lug. Thanks in advance.

Maybe Trump should meet this guy. Will probably get removed but could not resist.

That's it! Thanks folks! I would have never figured that search term out.

The long story is that mine fell off way down in ole Mexico and my wheel cover went rolling off into a field, unbeknownst to me. A taxi driver (with a fare) saw it happen and stopped and chased it down. Then, still with fare, chased us several miles down the road to return it. And he wanted nothing for his trouble.
    Another outstanding effort Wally!

General RV is where I get mine, In my case the Wixom MI store but if you send your specs, and a photo to the Customer Assistance folks at most of the major RV suppliers OTHER than camping world.. Odds are they have a box of 'em.

IF sending photo. Take at least two of the nuts, put one Cap up and one lying on it's side, threads exposed, next to a ruler or mM stick (metric ruler) and take picture including all 3

If shopping bricks and mortar.... Take one with you to match.

Joke; (Luan comic last Sunday) New store built just 2 years ago going out of business due to on-line shopping making Brick and Mortar stores fail... "What did they sell" Bricks and mortar.

  • I think what you need are called stud extensions and I got mine from Lippert industries. Just look them up and they were very helpful. I don't have their number but, You should be able to find it on the net
You could also try PPL in Houston, Tx
    Good luck
