MH listing to one side

Whether levels are down or MH is moving, it's lower about 2 inches on the right side. Weight is not an issue. Any ideas on the cause? An appointment with Freightliner may be next....
  • It may be taking on water which is caught in the bilge on that side.

    Oh, sorry, that was boats.
  • Doug,
I'm getting a message: "Page cannot be found". I'll try direct to askattwood.com

    Thanks.

    Update -
    OK thanks.
  • I cannot get the Atwood link to work. BUT, if you have the Atwood manual that comes with the jacks. The Terminal P wire is the place to connect 12 volt positive to. That will engage the air valve solenoids to CLOSE and allow the Chassis air bags to inflate. Doug
  • If you cannot get under your coach without the jacks extended please do not extend them and use them only to get under the coach. You could raise the coach and install some proper jack stands but many RVers have been injured or killed when the jacks failed or unexpectedly retracted.
  • Leveling jacks extended are not required to repair the chassis Air leveling system. Leveling jacks are an ADD ON option. Now, if you are talking about CLOSING the Air dump solenoid valves(Atwood control box does interface with the Chassis air solenoids), you can jump the air valve wire at the Atwood control box (not the dash touch pad) to close the air valve solenoids. The procedure is outlined in the Atwood operators manual. Doug
  • UPDATE:

Now having a problem with Attwood Jacks ( yes, it's our turn :R ), and can't get the Height Control gizmo fixed until the coach can be raised.

Question: Can a problem occur if the coach lists 2 inches to one side?

ie: does this listing issue have to be resolved?

    Thanks in advance.

Ride height valve/rod needs adjusting or is broken. The rod has a rubber end that often ages and breaks... easy fix.
