Minnie Winnie 31G Water in Compartment

I have a 2018 Minnie Winnie 31g. I have had an issue with water accumulating in one of the storage compartments. It is the driver's side in front of the rear wheels. Another 31g owner contacted me with the same issue, however I am not sure if it's the same compartment. I can't find anything obvious to see where it's originating from. There was also moisture at the top of the compartment as if it was raining down condensation. It happened in both hot and cold weather so I suspect the water that's getting in is causing the condensation problem. Has anyone else with a similar Minnie Winnie have and issue like this and were you able to track it down?

    I had that happen one time when I parked it overnight with the compartment in the path of a rotor sprinkler head.

    We have a '15 Itasca Spirt 27Q. It has 3 outside storage compartments on the right side that leaked when driving in rain. The dealer put new gaskets on the doors and like I figured that didn't fix the leaks. I used black roofing mastic, tar type caulking, and resealed the compartment seams from the outside, under the mh. that fixed my problem, it did take a couple of times.

    I had the same issue with a side compartment on my TC, it was getting water in it when driving in the rain.

    After taking a hard look at the sealing lip I discovered the door was not compressing the bulb seal all the way around, so I took a brass hammer and carefully banged the aluminum lip that the bulb seal was attached to, outward, so it contacted the door better. No more water in the compartment. Takes a little trial and error time but doable.

    great idea . You didn't have order or replace a part. tap tap tap and you're back in business. :C

    Hi all, along the same lines in front of my driver side wheel is the shower which leaks like a sieve... pan where meets walls has been caulked in past, brittle no doubt original from 2000, 30' fourwinds, majestic- identical example can be seen in this sales video... 3/4 toward the end:

    Floor is spongy but in intact. Is it possible to replace the floor up 3 or 4"'s where all the cracks/ing is to avoid messing with the walls and plumbing? Alternatively, is there a miracle wide rubbery waterproof tape for a quick fix?

    CaptR, you really need to start a new thread for your problem.

    To the OP, on my 2003 Winnie the outside compartment leak was through the screws that are in the sill of the door frame. I took the screws out and coated the threads with caulk and put them back in. I also sealed between the compartment liner and sidewall like Dusty R mentioned. I needed both fixes to stop the water intrusion.
