Models with Adaptive Cruise Control

In my opinion, it is one of the BEST features on new vehicles. It was a requirement for the last two vehicles I bought, and is one of the features that would make me consider upgrading my truck.

It might not be as useful on the open road, but if you drive in traffic it is a great feature. Set cruise at whatever speed, and it maintains a steady distance from the vehicle ahead of you. From a dead stop all the way up to the speed you set.

You should drive one and give it a try, I LOVE it. You can't always just move over and the system will automaticly slow down and then speed up again when the road is clear.

Yes I am very familiar with these features. I like them on a car and truck, just not sure about a motorhome.......

Right, why buy a motorhome if you have to pull over to use the toilet?

Thanks for all the info everyone. It's disappointing that ACC didn't make it to MHs earlier. On the bright side, since I can't afford any 2019s, I'll be saving a lot of money buying an older rig!

Let's hope Adaptive Cruise Control is an option on the RV prep cut-away. You would think such options would be standard equipment when considering the application.

Since MH's are large and take longer to slow down and speed up, is a MH a good platform for ACC?

The Ford F53 website says the 2020 chassis will have ACC as an option for the first time.

2019 Transit chassis, 2020 Sprinter chassis, and 2021 E-series chassis all have it optional. On all of these, it is part of a package with auto emergency braking and lane-keep-assist but you can turn off the other assists if you don't want to use them.
