But, duct tape is still king. - Executive45Explorer IIIAmerican Ingenuity !!!...Dennis
- GMandJMExplorerNice that Biscuit sprang for the "heavy duty" Lasko fan for his Mr. Mister upgrade.
Too funny! - EffyExplorer IIIf you remove the cover and attach razor blades to the fins, it could double as an electric shaver. Brilliant I know, but not my idea. I borrowed it from a Family guy episode.
- BusskipperExplorerNow I see what I'm doing WRONG!
Thanks, - Executive45Explorer IIII didn't want to put any holes in the roof in case I want to replace it with a larger one. I already made a portable one with a Homer Bucket, some PVC, a fan and some ice....:B..Sorry though, Home Depot discontinued the styrofoam insert....Dennis

- Awesome work Dennis!
I have a couple big honkin bolts I'll send you for free. Holds better than the tape. Just use a one inch auger bit and bore a hole through the fan base and out the roof and put a big washer and nut on the roof. A little duct tape and bubblegum will take care of the rainy days.
That way you never have to worry about the tape letting go when your running down the road! - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIDennis Thanks for the mounting solution.
I just finished up testing run on my mister/cooling unit and was wondering how I would mount it for optimum coverage.
Air coming off 'chiller' is 26*F AND it eliminates dry air issue in in AZ.
