Monaco - Front Slide Controller
Front slide controller
Hi All, I have a 2006 Camelot 42 DSQ - in preparation to travel Thursday I had RV washed at a wash service and did some prepatory maintenance prior to planning on leaving Thursday evening early. Completed all I needed to get done, took shower in house came down to RV and shocked that my front curb side slide was fully extended. Neither myself or my wife extended it and had serious puzzled thought process questioning if I was suffering from Old Timers. Coach had been sitting for about 4-5 hours prior to slide moving out after washing! When I went to move it back in travel position it would not move but heard a clicking sound consistently. Found that the drive motor for slide was still trying to move slide out! Unplugged motor and then proceeded to check manual, read items on this forum and find out what to do! Manual says that slide control is located in rear curbside electrical compartment. No controller or module to be found and finally after numerous hours of pulling my hair out went to bed. First thing in the morning used jumper wires to reverse direction using plugs from motor to coach plug and yessireee went right in!! Traveled, plugged in plug to motor and slide ran out to position and here we are! will use jumper wire to run slide in but still have not found module or controller to check. REV Group has NO idea where it is located and anticipate that it may have just gotten wet when washing it and shorted out?? Suggestions for a fix or possible solutions to correct situation??
