I have a 2000 Damon Intruder. The bedroom slide motor will not extend or retract unless I switch from the engaged mode to release then works fine. Is there any way to adjust clutch brake so that it will release in the normal mode?

I've checked the price of a new motor. It is close to $800.00 and a 10 day weight. Any help will be appreciated. We are presently in Erie, Pennsylvania.

No, that motor has an electric brake. Just use in release mode and the only time it needs to be "engaged" (locked) is when it is retracted. Check the wiring at the motor. You may have to cut off the rubber boot. "Some" of the models have 4 wires. 2 wires (large gauge) are for the motor and the other 2 wires (small gauge) are for the electric brake. These types require that the electric brake wires(small gauge wires) be connected to the same wires as the motor. Others, the wires are internal to the motor assbly. A 14 year old PG probably does not have the 4 wires externally. Doug
