Shocked and stunned.. 2020 Iveco Winne Kirra( 25ft 11 inches, Class C)… 8 speed auto… at 100/110 kph(60-70mph).. picked it up dead empty.. put in 80L…. Drove home.. then onto Childers.. filled up.. 52L… that’s 132L all up .. and now it’s full… 100L… we have travelled 350klms…for 32L… (it sits on 100kph @ 1600rpm)…that’s a smidge under 11klms per litre..for the old blokes in us that’s over 30 mpg!!!(24.98US)… I am gobsmacked to say the least..

Interesting to see others experiences on this forum. More on this has a GVWR of 5200kg or 11464.038lbs

Several reasons for this appearance of better than great fuel economy….assuming the math and conversions are correct.
1. Short trips, partial fill ups especially on the top 1/2 or 1/4 tank are notoriously inaccurate.
IE a couple litre difference on 30l fill up will change the numbers 4x as greater than a couple liters difference between fill ups on a whole tank.
2. You don’t know the wind conditions, you may know the road, but wind plays a huge part. And sometimes it blows the other direction from prevailing winds even when you’re living on the bottom of the earth and not the top…
3. Most men lie about 3 things. Size of fish they caught, size of their 3rd member and the fuel mileage of their truck.
4. Based on your decided bias for the down under and your years of repeated America bashing on here, I don’t believe you any more than the owner who supposedly posted their mileage.

I agree-- terrific economy.

11 KM/liter= 25.87 MPG. Note, this is to the U.S. gallon.

To the Imperial gallon it works out to a little over 30 MPG.

My minivan gets 18mpg with nothing in it, I'm ok with 7mpg carrying a week's worth of everything I might need.

At the end of the day, I'm still paying less for annual fuel costs than most of the world.

Ah, if only I could get double digits in my C....10 would be great. But I live between 7 and 8 depending on if i'm pulling a dinghy or not, and speed, and wind, and....

I've never gotten above 8.3. 33 foot C. Loaded.

Actually it's not 30mpg. Closer to 25mpg. It would have been nice if the data was portrayed a little more clearly.

For a small diesel MH at 60mph, that's nice but nothing too exceptional, particularly if there is a bit of tail wind.
