Motosat Dish Problem

I have the motosat executive roof mounted dish, problem is when the unit deploys the arm with the lnb stays up against the dish and does not drop down into its normal operating position,I can reach it with my wash brush handle and push it down and all is well and it stowe away just fine. Anyone know what brings the bar down.

Gravity should bring it down. It is already folded away during storage and the when the dish raises the arm should not raise until lifted by the dish. I believe that there are also springs there to help hold it during windy conditions but getting it lubed up should get you back in business unless it it badly rusted or damaged.

Two springs... but the pivot bolt on that arm needs lubed about 3x a year. Silicone spray on all the moving parts. It works on mine. 🙂
