Navion/View 24B

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 Winnebago View 24B. This is the rear bunk model. I was told that this was not a popular floor plan and hence discontinued. In looking at the NADA values for the 3 models available for 2008, the 24B has a listed value of under 50k for average retail while the listed retail value of both the 24H and the 24J are over 60K. Does anyone know why there is so much difference between them? I'm assuming that if it's true that the floor plan was unpopular, then that would explain the price difference.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply. So would a price of 18k over NADA be unreasonable for the 2008 24B View? NADA is 49 and asking price is about 68K. Seems like a long ways apart. This would be my first class c rv after several travel trailers and I'm trying to get it right. Thanks, Tim

That asking price is way out of line. I paid just under 80K for a brand new J I ordered in 2011.

If you go here and join you can look in the database. There is a file in there called the "marketbase" that has Views/Navions for sale. There is a 2008 B for sale there. Asking $54K
  • The seller is most likely "under-water" on the loan, or just crazy enough to think someone will meet his/her price.

If you like the RV just offer a lower more reasonable price. He may come to his senses after a limited time.

  • It is either unpopular or sought after due to it being rare. Some folks like it due to its light weight, no slide and lots of storage. NADA would be less because the price was less due to no slide.
