I just stopped at Discount Tire to check out the situation. They said that the M/S2 is the direct replacement, but there still might be some of the M/S tires still in the pipeline. If there is still a choice: would the older model M/S tires be a better choice if there are handling problems with the M/S2 tires? Have the older M/S tires been discontinued from being manufactured? It would certainly be useful if anyone else has had experience with the M/S2 tires, positive or negative, and would post their thoughts. Discount Tire said there would be no cost whatsoever in getting the tires exchanged.
