It turns out the C did come with M/S's not the M/S 2's that I had put on my truck. With a manufacture date of 1111 we are smack in the middle of the recall. Have an appointment for tomorrow at nine for 6 new M/S 2's on Michelin's dime.
GVWR is 11,500 - FAWR is 4200 - RAWR is 7800. Last trip to the scale in the middle of the trip with a normal load we weighed 10,050# (nice to know I still had another 1500# of payload available). The door sticker calls for 65 PSI front and rear but since we are nowhere near max load I am thinking probably will get a smoother ride and a little better handling at around 50 to 60 PSI. :h
Somewhere on this Forum (but I cannot find it), is a chart showing psi to load. Anyone know where I can get a look at it to check my numbers? The new tires are rated at 2680# at 80 psi for singles and 2470# at 80 psi for duals. :?
