New owner of new to me 22J

Little over a week ago, I joined the Class C world, leaving the travel trailer arena.

Got tired of backing my 27' long travel trailer from a relatively narrow subdivision street, 90 degrees into my driveway, along with moving 1 or 2 generators from my truck to hook up to my trailer.

Now I have a 24' long Jayco Redhawk 22J. Hoping this solves both of my problems, and keeps me on the road a lot longer.
  • BobnDot,

While EOD will be a lot easier. (Turn it off and you are about done.)

You not don't have any way for short travel. While a coach that small can still go lots of places, think about carrying bicycles for the runs like to the pool or shower. If close enough, even into town.
We did drag a towed for about a season, but for us the aggravation was not cost effective.

  • Hi Erroll, I remember our 23RB days , hope all is well with you and your family.
We made the same decision because of our tight street and purchased a 24' non slide unit. We now are able to get back into those day trips that we always enjoyed with our TC's and B's. We miss the room of our TT but we get so much use from our small class C.
Good luck with your new rig,
    stay safe, B and D
