new Red Max Pro Question

When I did some repairs on mine and had to re caulk I just applied it to the repair area. It blended in nicely, I would not redo the whole MH.

Zep makes a stripper that will remove it. Just about any floor stripper will work.

I removed it with the Red Max remover and cleaned it again as if doing it for the first time, then reapplied. I have done this twice in the several years since I started with Red Max.
The first time, I noticed that I had not rinsed the cabover well enough and some of the new finish mottled, but just on the cab over. The second time I didn't have this problem. I redid it in April.
I like the stuff, have not had any chalking since I started using Red Max, although the stripes run out more color each time I do it. I used up all the first gallon of Red Max this last time and will have to buy Zep next time.
I chose to remove and do it again but we are in AZ and the finish gets noticeably darker than white over time. If you wash your windows with ammonia based cleaner and it sprays onto the finish, you will notice that it works to remove the finish too. So any ammonia based cleaner would probably do the same job removing the finish. I found it quite easy to remove, no soaking etc.

When the finish starts to yellow, will the new coats hide the yellowing old finish coats of Red Max Pro3?

It seems to me the discolored finish will still be visible through the new clear coats of finish.

Any idea(s) of a quick and easy stripping method and material to use?

There is a Red Max Pro remover available (or at least there was). It takes some elbow grease since it is designed to work on a horizontal floor, soaking the finish off.

I had to re-caulk the entire unit and used a solvent to remove caulk residue. So everywhere there is a compartment, window, latch, etc. the RMP has been removed. So I figured I would just start from scratch. I do not mind doing the work, I just want to make sure I get to the fiberglass surface before applying new layers of RMP.

Why do you want to remove the RMP? Why not just clean the RV and recoat?

TSP will get off the remaining RMP?

I would just use TSP on the areas that need to be touched up and reapply the Red Max to those areas.

Yikes... is that my only option?
