Also most if not all built ins are very expensive to update and are NOT meant for motorhomes. The RV units and big rig stand alones are.
how does a GPS get the not meant for Motor homes status? whom says so and why?
Indash GPS units are intended for passanger cars.
For RVs people really should be using truck or RV modes to allow the GPS to safely route them avoiding narrow bridges and low overhangs.
In Addition some RV/Truck units allow you to input your height so as to avoid routings with low clearance. Some also have great campground/truck stop poi's built in
