At this point with a 30AMP MH it seems the only way we can run the A/C is when plugged directly into a camp sites 30AMP or have the generator running?
Pretty much. I have run our AC using a 15 amp adapter (cheater) but it melted it due to too much current pulling across it. AC draws a lot of power so it is best to have a 30 amp receptacle.
I installed one in my garage just for my RV.
