new to us motorhome

Looking for advice on used diesel motorhome. We are looking at 36 ft and our choices are all 2001 t0 2005, Itasca Horizon, Holiday Rambler Ambassador, Monaco diplomat, and Airstream xc360. How do these rank in build quality, all have one piece solid roofs either alum. or fiberglass. Major problems with any of them?

do a double check for roof leaks, if signs of water walk away. no matter what your told.

A minor issue that can become major on any older coach. We bought a 1998 Monaco Windsor (which we really like.)

One week later, the plastic hose that feeds the ice maker broke due to age and sun exposure, and allowed the entire contents of the fresh water tank to be pumped into the coach. The floor was sloshy wet in the front 2/3 of the coach.

A quick and cheap fix if you catch it before it breaks - look at it after you buy.
