Notice this AVIDA Escape, released about two years ago. Notice the Skif boat on the roof, the space for a motorbike to be loaded. Guess Winnebago got some ideas from the local manufacturer

Well, they all have copied features and ideas from European Ducato vans. There is a deep parts supply from Europe. Frankly, I don't care where good ideas come from, as long as they are made available.
I do like that motorbike ramp. Not sure I'm brave enough to ride my bike up into the van. At 500 lbs, she's not too heavy to carry, but definitely would need a wheel chock and some tie-down eyes mounted.
True, but I have noticed how some aspects of AVIDA, which used to be Australian Winnebago, have turned up in the US Winnebagos but are not really all that European
