New Winnebago furnace problem

Are you dry camping or are you plugged in?

I'm assuming you have the unit set on Gas(Furnace) and not Elec(tric). On the thermostat in our 2013 Winnebago Vista I have to be sure I have moved the switch to Gas. Of course I can tell if the air conditioner starts blowing. But that electric heat automatically cuts off when outside temp goes below 36. But that doesn't make the furnace come on. Also you may have to raise the set temp above 58 because the thermostat is on an inside wall and it may not be getting below 58 during the night. In addition, if you aren't connected to electric in a cg the voltage from the battery may be too low for your furnace to operate. Run your generator and charge the batteries.

Do you have gas flow? Do you have electricity to the furnace? Pull the thermostat apart and look. There should be four wires, 12VDC+, 12VDC-, and two for switch. Jump the two switch wires together and the furnace should come on. It will continue to run until you remove the jumper of everything is OK.

Yup, answer the battery voltage question first.

I am hooked up to an electric landline and propane is the source of my heat. It comes on and works for awhile so everything is firing up, blower comes on and heat comes out of vent but during the course of the night, it does not continue to cycle. I appreciate all the replies, thank you

We carry a small electric heater with us and use it when connected to electric. Buy one and use it until service date. Dick

My Minnie Winnie had problems like yours when I bought it new. Found that the propane tank had moisture in it. This caused it to run normal and sometime during the night the regulator would freeze up. This usually happened when the outside temp dropped below 40 degrees.This forum helped me out. I would run out during the night and pour warm water on the regulator housing. THe regulator would unfreeze and run for a while. Once I determined that it was moisture in the tank causing the regulator to freeze, I had methanol injected into the tank at a propane distributor. That solved the problem. Just remembered, try this. When the furnace stops, go to the stove and light it. If the regulator is frozen from moisture, the flame will be low, orange or not there at àll.
Further note, purging propane tank did not help and cost me $80. Methanol cost me $15.
