Newbie question

Once again, I am reaching out for you experience and knowledge. We have a 2000 34D Bounder that we are updating and preparing for full time. We were changing out the light bulbs to LED. There are two wall sconces that apparently were a little different bulb than the rest but they looked the same. When we changed out the first one, all the lights in the bedroom went out and won't come back on. We checked the fuses in the 12V fuse box on the inside and they all showed OK. Not sure where to go next. Seems like a blown fuse but...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • your 120v outlets
have NOTHING to do with your 12vdc 1141 lamps

you lost 12v power to that crcuit

check the 12v fuses in the 'service panel' , not under the engine hood

Do you have a GFI circuit? If so try resetting it?
  • Still completely baffled. Have removed all the LED bulbs in the bedroom and replaced them with the original 1141's but no change. The outlets in the room are working fine, just the lights. Regular logic tells me it has to be a fuse blown but they are all testing good but I am quickly learning RV logic is an animal all its own. It just seems that something blew and needs to be reset but for the life of us, we can't figure it out. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Most likely those lights are daisy chain wired and you put the LED bulb in backwards. LEDs only pass current one way (the D stands for diode, an electrical check valve). Try putting the bulb in the other way.

  • Take the led bulb out. I had the same issue with a couple of lights in my fiver. Led would never work in them.
