No more Wind Whistles

During our 13 years of travel with our 2004 model coach, both halves of the 2 piece windshield have been replaced individually twice following rock damage.

Since the last replacement about 3 years ago we've had frustrating intermittent wind whistles. Small bump... whistle starts ...next bump whistle stops. Eventually I'd discover an area where the glass is partially out of the gasket. My insurance/Duncan Glass arranged for Glass experts to reset the glass but the problem continued. When I saw the last outfit finished with clear silicon, I knew they were not professionals.

Recently, we had the job done correctly. Both windshields were removed, the old gasket removed and the frame area thoroughly cleaned and properly prepared for a new gasket. When the new gasket was properly sealed in place, the windshield glass was replaced, sealed and allowed to cure more than a week.(Scheduled during a time we did not need the coach).

When they were all done they masked the narrow area below the gasket and placed narrow seal covering the 1/8th inch area where the repainted coach paint did not fully match. I paid for the new gasket ($495) and part of the installation above what my insurance company pays for this item.

I could not be more pleased with the quality and professionalism of Gary's Auto Glass Inc of Alexandria, MN. Highly recommend them.
