First check your fuses.
Do you have a test light of multi-meter? Look for the wires going up the arm to the awning motor. Disconnect them and test for voltage (don't forget to turn the switch on). If you have voltage you probably need a new motor. No voltage start working back to the power.
My next point would be the switch. Look for power at the switch. If you have power coming in and none going out when you press the switch. Your switch is bad.
