No power to headlights

Greetings eveyone
I have a 1987 Itasca sunflyer model ICN33RU
There is no battery power to anywhere on the fuse block..no headlights,no flashers etc..
There is a orange wire that plugs into the upper Left batt.plug and next to it a purple wire ..
I added 12 volts from the battery thru a seperate feed and now everything works... I checked the circuit breakers on the frame next to the batteries and they all had power on both sides.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram to show me where the power to the fuse block feeds in from ?
Thanks !
Pete
  • This what he said

Fuse links, covered by a removal sleeve, after you disconnect the wires from the terminal
  • GM chassis has fuse links next to starter
Ford chassis has fuse links next to starter relay(solenoid to some people)
That is why need to know what chassis!
  • My first RV was on a 1983 Toyota chassis. When it was about 20 years old, both headlights and all flashers and the horn all quit at once. Wiring diagram showed that the headlights were fused separately. ??? It turned out that a relay inside the steering column was causing the problem.

It was still drivable (not legally), so I waited for daylight and drove it 150 miles to home and my regular mechanic.
