no turbo boost in Cummins isc

I just had a new turbo installed at a Cummins dealer and I have lost all boost again. Cummins dealer can't find the problem. They want to keep putting on new parts. Supposed to have checked for air leaks. Now want to replace fuel pumps. What should I look for?
  • On my Cummins the hose clamp broke on the turbo hose causing me to lose the turbo boost.
  • Lets hope this is your fix.
My Cummin's lost boost almost all at once. Same engine.
    Barely could climb any grades.
There is a short (about 14") hose, about an inch in diameter that runs under the intake manifold from the front of the manifold to the air compressor. If you run your hand over the hose, you might find a hole, large enough to stick a finger in, in it right at the air compressor connect.
I put the same query on this same list and someone came back with the solution I gave to you. Even the exact location of the hole. Good luck, let me know if I'm right.
  • This is a different dealer! I got about 800 miles before this new problem
  • Maybe a new Cummins dealer. Or, at least a different mechanic with more experience.

I'm surprised a franchised dealer can't figure out what the problem is. This is supposed to be what they do.
