I appreciate the interest and empathy. I understand that there might be some doubt. Truth is a year and a half ago I took on a part time job. It's called dealing with Thors warranty department. It doesn't pay much but it's only 3-5 hours a week, but sometimes as many as 10! Kidding aside, which it's amazing I can still kid about this It literally keeps me up nights. To answer a few questions, Thor said they replaced the Hydo unit when it was in Indiana. It didn't come on when it wasn't supposed to for about 7 month's, but then it went back to it's old tricks. Just picture your family on board doing 65 mph at night and the pad suddenly comes on. What a shocker, you feel like you swallowed your lung. Regarding the extended chassis, Thor extended the chassis, after the rear axle. Regarding my local shop that did the spring work, I don't want to mention their name due to the fact I need them as this "issue" progresses. There service manager says the house is part of the problem. He said its either the house wasn't set right or the walls are not square. He said "believe me, they know" He said when this thing was in front of them they could see what I see. Thats when I remembered the rear cap. When I got home from Indiana last June I was washing my rig when I noticed the paint lines didn't line up at the rear where the cap meets the walls. After further inspection I noticed the cap was raised of the roof a 1/2" and that there was new sealer around the ladder bracket. I called thor and the service manager said " my guys did that on there own, I didn"t authorize that" I was flabbergasted! I got an estimate for paint that Thor thought was too high and I ended up settling for 1/3 of that price just to make it go away. As you can assume at that point I had had it. Also, last month after the local shop installed the xtra springs I brought my rig To Minute Man Ford in Mass. for an alignment. They set the toe on the front, he said the rear is at .042 and they allow .050 and it's not adjustable. He said He can see its off. He said Its an altered chassis and they don"t want to touch it. I offered to pay and he said no. When I got home I wet the tire and drove straight to leave wet tire tracks. What I saw was mind boggeling. the right set of prints were 3 tire mark's side by side. The center being the front tire. The left set of prints had only 2 mark's, a left a 6" space in the middle and a right mark. It blew me away, within Ford's spec my butt. It turns out the front tire rides on the same track as the left rear. Craziest tire marks I have ever seen. I know long post. Sorry, its a long story. More to come, Marc DeNardo aka marcdohc
