I don't want to be argumentative but can you explain why you would want to use one year old oil filters vs. new, or at least newer than what you are carrying?
Just imagine that you like to eat bananas and like to keep a fresh stock of bananas in your kitchen. Do you eat the freshest ones first when you get back from the grocery store?

That was my invoice.....oil/ filters/ lube.
They did 'look' at my webasto. It was/ is smoking.
They didn't fix it, just looked. I didn't have time to wait for parts for the fix.

Bendare2, I followed your post on the other site.
If you are on a budget, why didn't you ask what the service prices were before you committed to the job?
And, if the tech's are young, does that mean they are not qualified?
Your post just seemed to attack the business owner vs. a gentleman's discussion.
I truly hope that you find a good place for service.
I had been reading your posts on the other site for a long time, it's seems the last one was just 'so-far-out-there', it didn't seem like it was you writing them.
Good luck,
MM.

I think SpeedCo is the answer the OP is looking for. Not sure what's up with Bendare2.
And you owner/operators that make a policy of gouging your customers, deserve to go broke.
I carry spare filters in my coach and when I get my filters changed, I want them to use my spare filters. I will always purchase the new filters from them and carry them as spares, but I want them to use my one year old filters and rotate them out. What's wrong with that?

Cummins/Freightliner do NOT recommend Baldwin, LubFiner and Donaldson oil filters. They use wrong specs for late model diesels. Wix, Fleetguard, etc, are OK.
Do you have a reference you can post for your statement regarding Cummins/Freightliner position on Baldwin filters?
