Oregon to Reno ....
Planning a trip from Bend, Oregon to Reno, Nv in October. Hwy 199 looks townless and mountainess. Anyone give me visibilty as to what to expect? Thanking in advance

I would take US 97 south to Klamath Falls and pick up 39/139 south to Aturas. Then pick up US 395.
