Outside entertainment compartment leak

We have purchased a 2016 Bounder 35K, and had the dealer fix a leak at the kitchen window. However, since not leaking inside as before, we have discovered a leak behind the entertainment center and after a rain storm the other night opened the cabinet and saw the rain dripping on the backside/basically between the wall. So much so that the radio got soaked and is probably shorted out.
Anyway the question I have is the window weather strip supposed to be exposed inside the MH? This window is the ONLY one that has such...kinda like "squeezed out" not flush like all the others.
  • Weep hole are NOT installed to drain condensation off the inside of the windows. They are installed because most windows are slider windows and when raining or washing, water can enter and fill up the glass slide felt track. The weep holes allow that water to drain outside and not fill up the track and overflow into the inside of the RV. Also, most have a Weep hole plastic cover and some do not. This is to prevent in transit air from pushing water inside and prevent whistling noise from the in transit air rushing over the slit in the windows.
To the OP, GET that RV to a Bounder dealer and get the Cause fixed before more damage happens from more rain. They will determine if the Window gasket is correct or not. Doug

Check your RV window WEEP holes and make sure they are not plugged up...
I have seen some plugged with a rubber insert.

Most RV windows have these but I imagine some do not...

This is there to drain off condensation water on the inside of the RV windows...
