- IvylogExplorer IIIHere's a better picture of how my bracket works. On the side of the Joe bed you can see the pivot bolt (below LEFT) that's all that holds the bracket. You can see that this bolt is below the middle of the TV so when I pivot it to store, it over centers and the weight of the TV holds it in place. I replaced the previous TV with a 40" LED TV on and the mounting holes were different so you can see the alum tubing I used to adapt to the new spacing.
With the TV slid back under the bay door it shades the TV for better viewing plus having the awning out helps too. I would recommend a Matt finish LED TV. - mike_brezExplorer

Im not that trusting.
Well if yer gonna set it on a table the stand that comes with it is pretty much the one you are going to have to use. I have purchased a dozen or so flat screens over the years and all the stands are different and are not interchangeable. Best go to a big box store like best buy to see in person if the stand meets your requirements. Everyone I purchased came with a stand. Even my 65" - DisneyfixExplorer

Anyone know of good tv stand? If not connecting it to rig it must be able to stand alone.
I have a folding plastic table from Costco that we carry in the basement. Ours is a big one, but they have small ones too. That's usually where the TV ends up. - tinkererExplorerWe removed out outside TV and replaced it with a freezer. Get a lot more use from the freezer. But each to their own!:)

I have the wireless setup and it was touchy. I was using it inside my cottage to the motorhome in driveway. Not long distance but too many walls I guess. Went back to good ol coax.
Not only walls, but metal and fiberglass in the motorhome walls. These transmitters say they will go from one room to the next, but anymore than that and you're pushing your luck. My plan would be to try and see how well the transmitter portion works if I put it in the overhead cabinet with the rest of the TV stuff, but I fully expect that I'll probably have to move the transmitted either to the window, or maybe even hang it outside the window. I guess it will depend on how far the TV is away too.
One camping trip on Thanksgiving a while back, we had a group of about 20 RV's in the foothills. We had rented a commercial size tent and had it set up in a campsite. Somebody had brought a 55" TV and the plan was to watch the 49ers game in the tent using the off the air signal. It wasn't until game time that somebody figured out the game wasn't be broadcast on a local station but on the NFL network. We were able to string together about 150' of coax and hooked into my Sat TV system and got to watch the game in the tent. I'm going to guess the HDMI transmitter probably wouldn't have worked that far away. - GoldencrazyExplorerI have the wireless setup and it was touchy. And to add to my post above, I just completed the conversion of my satellite TV system to all digital and now have HDMI cables running to my two interior TV's. So one of these wireless HDMI transmitters is going to be my next purchase. That way all I need is to get power to the TV and I will get the TV signal wirelessly from the Sat dish. So only one cord to run to the TV.
