My current unit has a 60x80 queen in the back that is off set so there is lots of room on one side for getting dressed in the morning. The other side of the bed is a shin banger. But you can shuffle around that side.
I looked at the same year & model I have now with a second bed in the cab over. That cab over was longer as I recall. I know my previous class C with a bed in the cab over had more overhang.
I happen to like having a cab over. It blocks the midday sun while driving. Because the sun is not pouring in like on a class A. The chassis AC unit is all I need to be comfortable driving during the summer. On hot days when I stop for the day. The house AC is the first thing that is turned on because the bedroom will be warm.
This shorter overhang sounds like a good compromise between a long one and a B plus. Sounds like there would be less movement. Also I notice some have a limited weight capacity for sleeping and some have 750 lbs capacity, I guessing the higher capacity overhead bed would be a stronger construction and would have less movement when traveling down bumpy roads. Does anyone know for sure?
