Paint or new decals in Northern California

Hello, long time follower first time poster. Hope this is the correct place to post this. We have a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer 35U; we enjoy every trip and have had few issues over the years. I have read many of the posts about how to remove decals that are bad. This is not for me. I’m looking for someone near Bay Area or Sacramento, CA that can paint where the decals are. Original decals are quite bad. I have also heard that some shop can feather the old decals and put new decals over the old ones. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • take a cruise thru the badest side of town and you,ll see art work thats just beautiful on all the old bldg. now stop at a church and ask the minister too hook you up with a painter. some of these young people can realy do art. I see it on the rail cars. shame all that talent not being used. maybe your local school art teacher could help you out. that would be a great class project.
  • You live in the right state for artwork, that is for sure. There should be many shops that will be able to help you. Seriously google is your friend on this one.
  • If you want to go with replacing the decals try RV Graphics out of Modesto. Contact is Ron Ardis (209) 605-9915 striperdude@sbcglobal.net. He is scheduled to do my friend's coach at what I understand is a very fair price.
  • I recently had a repair done on my TT and this company did the painting. It looked great but I have only had it back for a year.

Transportation Services, fleet painting, in Sacramento, (916) 737-575.

Performance RV in Sacramento has also been recommended to my but I have no experience with them.
  • In the SF Easy Bay area is a place where we store our MH called windy Flats. He man who runs it caqn the graphics for you. His mai work is painting Harley's and you know how picky those guys are! He does lots of RV body reapair, awnings, etc. Windy Flats 510-222-3777
  • Thanks all. I will make some phone calls tomorrow and when I have it figured out I will let you know!
  • Follow-up to Last December's question.
I just finished having all the decals replaced on my 2003 Adventurer.
Used Auto Trim Design out of Modesto, one of the recomendations from this forum.
There are two brothers, Rob in Modesto, and Steve in Marin County.
Couldn't be happier. Price was very competitive. They changed a few things around and improved the final look.
Went with Decals because of price and age of RV.
Only caution is they are a two man team, and they are always busy, so it may take a while to get to it. Steve took two days once they started.
    Would recommend to anyone.
    Ron is email striperdude@sbcglobal.net.
    Steve e-mail is sardis@guno.com
