- CaseysExplorerI had the exact same problem on the 2007 Winnabago 24v I just purchased. I removed the front decal, as it was in bad shape. That was a chore. Then I buffed out the fiberglass, which totally erased the ghosting from the previous rental logo. All it was was a difference in gloss levels from oxidation. I used a rotary buffer and some meguiar's fiberglass restorer. After the buffing, I put on a generic new vinyl graphic I bought for $20 online.
I then used a deep application of Aerospace 303 to protect the finish on the vinyl and the fiberglass. Looks like new and you can't tell it was ever a rental. No big deal and no paint needed on mine. Hope this helps. - RaymonExplorer

You bought an older rental unit and the camping world rental sign offends you? If that's the issue then have it over painted, but that will not make it new. Kind of like the aging female that has all of the needed cosmetics done but can't do anything about the aging inside.
His profile says the MH is a 2012 Thor Freedom Elite. I wouldn't call that old. He is a new member; cut him some slack.
Ray - BordercollieExplorerI notice the brand graphic is peeling. Maybe you can have fron graphics removed and front cap repainted for a blank look. I'll bet side graphics are cracked/peeling/faded too. There have been recent threads on what to do, none of them easy/cheap.
- TyroneandGladysExplorerThe best place to hide an elephant is in the parade. IMHO if you try to blend or match those spots it will look like a patch. Either do as other suggested and get a decal or just paint a stripe of a dark color over it. On the spot on the side would a visited state map cover it?

Since that is the "hit zone" for bugs and small rocks, maybe some bedliner?
I've had good luck with the Rustoleum bedliner rattle-can. Takes a few coats for a nice OEM look, but it's durable. The only trick is you have to remove the masking tape before it sets, otherwise it creates rough edges. - Francesca_KnowlExplorer

Aside from paint, there's no "mixing" compound that can be used? Is there a high gloss that I can apply to bring the "old" paint close to glossiness as the paint that was under the sticker?
It isn't just the glossiness- UV radiation also affects the color itself. You actually have two different shades of white now, and even if you could match it you'd have a hard time blending the edges.
Decal really does sound like the best solution- could even be fun idf you decided to design your own. - IAMICHABODExplorer III like the cover with a graphic Idea. That is what El Monte did on my Ex Rental, they got a Graphic from Fleetwood, you can barely see the shiny part.

You might go to Thor and see what they have.
I tried to buff out the one on the back that was smaller, and even had a pro shop try but it is still there. I put a decal over it. - jesseindallasExplorerAside from paint, there's no "mixing" compound that can be used? Or the old guy with the young chick and the Viagra.
Cat Lady
young chicks shouldn't need Viagra.
I'm afraid if you try to touch it up, it might end up looking worse.
If you do get the vinyl stripe, have it read "Prevost".
