No to Polish!
After spending money on every type of wax you could think of, i found the best solution for the least amount of work(and my old 1999 Four Winds never had a lick of wax on it). Start with a coat of 3M Restorer and wax, apply and do not let dry, remove immediately. This will remove any oxidation and start the wax process. Next use Meguires Marine wax, applying the same way, no dry time. Other waxes on top of the 3M would seem blotchy. Do both in small sections. You won't beleive the shine.

This is what I used on my Alpenlite the best that I have ever used to remove oxidation on gelcoat plus the Porter Cable 7424XP and Foam Pads. The best way to clean pads and rags is with this product, they turn out like new.

Ever ask a Polish person in Poland where to get Kielbasa. I once did and got a question back - what kind of Kielbasa. Kielbasa in Poland is like sausage here - hot dogs of different types, and many varities of sausage - and not one specific type of sausage. Kielbasa, kolbasa, kolbasa, kobasa, kolbasi, kovbasa, kobasi, and kubasa are common North American anglicizations for a type of Eastern European sausage. Get a marine polish made for fiberglass. You can go with the floor coating, as many have, but you will also find that many have had it peel off. Do a search of the various posts about using floor coating on your RV and read about the problems. Any exterior boat polish/coating will probably contain some UV protection which may help prolong the decals and help prevent oxidation of your gelcoat. The floor coating does not contain any UV protection and it may peel from dark surfaces.

In the case of your specific coach, a marine wax specifically designed for gelcoat fiberglass. It will probably provide the longest lasting protection short of clearcoat paint. Many use a floor polish called Zep Wet Look (aka Red Max Pro) which has a big following around here and on other RV sites. It is basically similiar to a thin plastic clear coating which can be long lasting, and can out last wax. You can find similiar plastic coating in the marine/RV markets that are long lasting, but more expensive because they serve the marine and RV markets.
