IMHO, that section of road will never be upgraded. It's been that way ever since I can remember and we used to go out there back in the 70's. No reason to think it'll ever change. Maybe you can go back over it and videotape your experience..you know, picture is worth a thousand words....:B:B...J/K...Dennis
I've never been to Slab City but have read a lot about it. I have friends who stopped by to check it out and it's really scary or surreal... whichever word you want to use. LOL!
Seems like I read something about the government going in there and cleaning it out but haven't heard anything new. I think it might be a little too earthy for me.
I wish I had a dash cam when driving over those dips on S22.... I just couldn't try and repeat that for a picture. I can't believe I didn't damage something.

haha it certainly far far from scarey but its certainly a little different and kinda like going back to the past 60s hippy days for sure,.Some real goofballs in there for sure
