Problem with Intellitec Smart EMS model 900

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion with an Intellitec 50 Amp Smart EMS model 900. Bought MH used in 2011 and have had only minor electrical issues since purchase. Lost the house batteries. Recently while at a Florida state park we experienced some severe summer weather, not unusual right? High winds, heavy rain and major lightning. While plugged into 50A during the storm AC power to the MH went off and back on several times. After storm was over all seemed OK. Left next morning for next stop ran genset to keep MH cool on the way. I always check the EMS display when I use genset and all was well, indicator showed genset and full power available for the AC"s. At new park, I shut down genset, plugged into 50A service and checked EMS display to see if all is OK. Took much longer than usual to lock on and show amp draw and after several minutes still no lock on on display. Scratched my head , went back to power pedestal, checked voltage with my meter and surge protector, all checked OK, but I got my 30A adaptor and plugged into it. EMS display came up in normal time and showed all available lights on the right displaay. Shortly after wife tried to use microwave and power display fell off and amp draw display showed peaks over 30A for a second. The fridge light dropped off. Scratchin head with both hands now as this had never happened before. I have been to parks with only 30A and never had this issue. Shut everything down I could went back out and plugged back into 50A, display came up on EMS as still on 30A, but everything is working well as it would on 50. I know we are on 50 as ac's are both going and can use anything in the MH. Left that park went to another same thing all over again. Spoke to my RV guy at home he thinks my inverter may have taken a hit during the electrical storm. Xantrex Freedom 458. Pretty sure this is related to the storm but have no clue what it could be. Sorry for such a long explanation but wondering if anyone has an idea what might be goin on?
