I suspect the OP, who has not replied in quite a while, got the message that based on he OP there is no sympathy here and that most see that he/she is mostly in the wrong. I doubt the OP will return. Taken the licken and moved on.

Ok I have a problem,, I have this RV that my friend bought me. I had to take care of stuff and the buy told me that 50 per month is the storage fee.
The "Buy told me"... Whaat? You had to take care of stuff? Meaning you can't pay the storage fees?




I told him I would get the RV moved by mid August. He wrote me and threatened me that if I don't get it out by the holidays (here comes the treat,, which don't make me really in a good mind to deal with this guy. I hate threats) or he will put a lean on it.

OK. Who is the BUY?


Now that is fine. I will find someone that will buy it for the stuff inside.. but the 25,00 a day******is what is boiling me. There needs to be a law against that and these repair places are all about money. the most greedy and unfriendly bunch of people I ever dealt with were automotive places like this so this guy is forcing me to probably give people free generator free 454 free tranny and all that.

I can only assume the BUY is a repair place?

What legal action can I take to fight this guy? There has to be recourse for me. of course now he wants 150 per month not the 50 he quoted me. Hell will be full of people like this. I am so angry!!!!!!!!!! advice? please anyone??

If your statements were a bit more coherent then maybe we could help you. As it stands, I have no idea what you are talking about.

THere it no lien on the RV. Someone gave him an old broken down one.

If there is a loan on that vehicle and the bank holds the title, The bank has to pay to get it back, That is if it wants it back.. Then that money is added to your loan... And if you don't pay then your credit rating takes a big hit..

Once storage fee exceeds the value of the vehicle, The lien holder can apply for a salvage title and then eventialy sell it or do whatever he wants... However it is a lengthy process and can take a year or more..

In Pa. once the lien is put on it and daily storage fee is started, that vehicle is basically impounded... If owner comes and tries to take it away or remove parts, The state police will arrest him for trespassing and vehicle theft.. The problem is the vehicle owner owes the repair business money, and the vehicle is the only collateral there is.. And nothing can be removed from vehicle without shop owners approval. He just wants paid. No one wants someone elses old RV siting on their property.
