Quick refer LP question

We have a Norcold refer, does the LP always stay lit? Or will it go on and off as needed? After we unhooked for this past weekend I heard it go on, then by the time we left (maybe 10 minutes later) it was off. Being that the fridge was cold does the flame go out or is this something that I have to look more into?

Thanks!

Your unit should use your 12V electric supply to ignite the LP. If you listen very carefully when you turn your fridge on, you'll hear the "clicking" of the igniter.

We ass-um your fridge turns automatically from 110 to LP. As long as your unhooked and you don't turn your main coach switch to off your fridge will stay on until you manually turn it off. The fridge will work off your 12 volt system using the LP for it's running mode.

Yes, unlike the older models which used a by-pass gas valve that modulated a constant burner flame from high to low.

IT will cycle whether on electric or propane as needed.........thermostat controls the 'heat' operation
Is it time for your medication or mine?
