Hi, Folks. My wife and I are interested in getting into a Class A next in our RV adventures, and have discovered the type of layout we like is 'sectioned' off into semi-separate rooms, like the Thor Damon Challenger models from the late 00's and a couple of the current Forest River Georgetown models.Anyone know of any other models which feature more of a 'roomed' feeling than the standard big long hallway layout? And, if anyone has any opinions either way about either of the models I listed, please feel free to share.Thanks very much.

The Challenger 37kt is the only one I know of that a front "room" can be sectioned off. It has French doors I believe. I like that floorplan.Some side hall models like the new Vista 36Y offer a feeling of sectioned rooms as the hall is on the side of the coach not down the middle.

My Beaver has a separate dining area and living area...is that what you mean. The layout is such that you can not see from the front to the bath or to bedroom which is unlike the typical "shotgun" layout.Marquis Emerald

IIRC saw one of those with the glass bedroom door once. sort of silly, I think it was frosted but you would have to put a curtain or something over it for privacy. one of those looks "neat" in the brochure but actually sort of sillybumpy

Presently own a Challenger 371, the predecessor of the 37KT. Great layout. Can live in the unit with all slides in. We change the direction we sleep when the rear slide is in. Nice thing about the unit is that the bed does not move - it is not in the slide section. Great during winter camping for heat retention. JM2¢...

I saw the Winnebago 37-F. I don't know how big you want but I think it fits your concept.

Not silly at all. The 37B has shades on the clear glass doors which allow both light and privacy in its spacious bedroom.

Look for a floor plan with a side aisle which is Something very rare
Park model mobile homes have side aisle
I don't know why RVs are built on the shot gun design
First thing people will say is weight distribution
But that can be designed and engineered, put the bath door on a side aisle,
Put the closets on the interior wall with the weight spread across the floor in the center of the chassis
