Ready brake system stuck

Is it stuck in the engaged position or the brake off position??

Is it the actuator that is stuck or the cable??

Do you have the break-away system? If so, did that get pulled?? If so, it is supposed to lock in the brake engaged position. There is a release button that must be pushed to unlock.

How old is your ReadyBrake unit? Is it the older style that slides in and out of the hitch receiver (slotted stinger), or the newer style that slides in and out of the unit itself (round hole stinger). The older style were prone to sticking due to rust in the receiver tube, but the newer ones don't usually have rust issues to deal with.

Is it the lever or the cable that is stuck? Or the receiver?
If it is the cable, who routed the cable? Could the cable jacket be pinched?
You are the first one with an unknown problem reported here. (I had a cable break, but it was a result of poor routing on my part)

It is the actuator bar that is hung up not the cable.

OK, is it a rust issue, or is it jammed or bent? If it is a rust issue, take some Kroil to it. Or mix a little transmission fluid with Acetone 50:50. Let it soak for a few days and then try it.

Tried the trans fluid and acetone solution soaked for 2 days still the cylander will not move
