rear view camera monitor

I have a 12 year old R View CRT Model VM-1030 by Viewcomm that intermittantly loses it's vertical hold. The company is no longer in business. Does anybody know of a source for a replacement unit or somebody on the west coast that repairs them? All RV dealers just want to sell me a new system. Thanks.

    I highly recommend this company!
  • Please check the connection from the camera at the back of the monitor. I had the same problem. I was only a loose connection at the back of the monitor.
  • that RVcam site could possibly be one of THE most expensive (generic equipment) solutions on the internet. ALL of this stuff can be sourced via amazon (or even cheaper).

I recently saw some 7 inch monitors for pennies (buy an extra and you're STILL ahead of the game).

    $27.95 - 7" (2 channel) Monitor

Turn any (wired cam) into wireless with this 19 dollar converter - HERE

there are all kinds of cable conversions to go back and forth between DIN/Pin, BNC & RCA with 12vdc (to power the camera), I cant find the link but i used one myself.
  • Just ask google and you will find any number of replacement monitors. As long as you can adapt the fittings, most anything will work.
