We like the Workhorse chassis for a number of reasons, the Allison 6 spd trans being a major consideration. Our research so far shows every model we have looked at offered the Workhorse as an upgrade option when the Ford is also offered. The longer (heavier)coaches usually offer only the Workhorse, indicating superior pulling power to the Ford.
Newmar Gas Mountainaire would be a definite consideration if they offered a model less than 39 ft and were not sold/selling for 50% more than we have budgeted. Also they offer only walk through baths which we dislike.
Gas Winnebagos, for some reason, offer only "RV queen" beds, too short for tall husband.
More recommendations welcomed
Thanks
