Recommendations: Gulf Port RV parks (east of NoLA)

Gonna be headed over to Pensacola to see our Navy Officer (son) for thanksgiving while he's in flight school. We thought maybe we'd stop along the way and maybe enjoy a day or 2 - see/learn somethi...

On our Summer 2013 trip, we stayed a few days in Cajun RV Park in Biloxi. Easy access to/from I10, and right across the road from the beach. A little further down the road (east), we spent a few days at Dauphin Island Campground. A bit pricey, but you can't beat it for beach scenery and solitude. At Pensacola, we stayed in Oak Grove Park on Pensacola NAS. A great military campground.
