Recommended routes in New Mexico

What route do you recommend from Roswell, New Mexico to North rim of the Grand Canyon? Thanks so much!

Roswell to the North Rim... that's a haul! I'd probably aim for a route that takes you through Flagstaff. It's a pretty drive, and Flagstaff itself is a cool town to spend a night or two in.

Theres no single recommended route 

You make your route based on how fast you need to move, time of the year/temperatures at elevations you cross, weather forecasts/risks of flooding, snow, wind, etc, your personal tolerance of crime rates in places and the types stops that are of interest to you.
