replaced wipers for $3.88 each

just bought 26" blades from Wal-Mart and drilled out the rivet that held the plastic holder in place. that's all it took. Just as good and much cheaper than the prices I saw on the internet and CW.
  • The Costco blades would not fit my 2014 Itasca Sunstar. Tried to modify the fittings but could not get them to work.
  • I got a coupon from Napa in the mail for a FREE set of wipers. Got them and they work great!
FWIW, I put a set of Costco's Goodyear wipers on and they were junk. Far worse than the 5 y/o wipers I took off. All they did is smear, chatter and skip places onthe glass no matter how I prepped them or cleaned the windshield. I used them for two years before giving up.
  • Costco.....Goodyear Premium....full range of sizes, no modifications needed.
Each set comes with lots of connection adapters.

    Oh, and great price.
  • I'm using 26" Rain-X blades so they are a bit more expensive, but I agree the small amount of modification it took to adapt them to the bolt on saddles on my wiper arms was well worth the cost savings.
  • I started using 24" wipers on my 95 Southwind. No drilling involved and I don't notice the slightly smaller wipe area.
Either way, it is a lot cheaper.
    Thanks for sharing.
