- Passin_ThruExplorerAgree with crasster. I had a bottle of Olive Oil break. Have to change carpet and took forever to get it off Linoleum.
- dkreuzenExplorerA residential fridge needs to be packed like any RV fridge so nothing can move around. I have had shelf/drawer supports break from overloading so beware of that.
- chuckftboyExplorerThe only real issue I have with my res. fridge was the door flying open when the wife didn't latch it. In her defense, we had just pulled out of Camping World and was turning left before she had a chance to latch it. Anyway, I no longer buy orange juice in hard plastic containers
I now use several spring loaded rods to secure heavy items. My Dometic had an auto door lock that locked when I turned on the ignition and I sure miss that feature. - DSDP_DonExplorerWe still bring soda, especialy 7Up for my VO. We use two of those soda stackers that let them roll forward. We have one plastic tray that holds all of the condiments. Other than that, we load like we would at home.
- crassterExplorer IIOrganize the inside well. Take special care that glass is placed near some softer stuff if possible. Leftovers in zip lock bags are often good and soft. Also bags of nuts or finger foods to pack around them.

Hello
New rig has Residential fridge. First ride I had two bottles broken. Any PROVEN solutions?
Pics would be great
Thanks
We lined one shelf in a continuous grid with these. All beverages and/or anything breakable is contained and can't dance around while we are moving. The bins that hold pop cans we stand the cans up rather than horizontal. Nothing has broke so far but if it does happen at least it will be contained. - Trumpet_PlayerExplorer

I subscribed since I have a FW with residential fridge on order. I'm thinking small organizer (plastic) baskets might help with that type of problem. We'll see what other folks say.
We have a residential refrigerator and using plastic baskets as indicated is exactly what we do while we travel. Never had anything break, but prior to the use of the baskets, everything was pretty much a mess inside when we arrived and opening the doors for the first time was a real surprise. Once parked (if for more than a day) we remove the baskets for easier use.
Safe travels, - GoldencrazyExplorerYou must have been on some horrible roads. Things do need to be secured so they don't roll around but no problem for me and no different than other RV refrigerator.

I used a sheet of the 'no-slide' fabric on each shelf and on top of a few shelves I placed a small plastic bin for holding small jars, etc. nothing moves, well not significantly. doors stay shut with the same type of closer used on kitchen drawers. - We_Cant_WaitExplorerA lot has to go with how you load the shelf. Myself I make sure the shelf I'm using is Full and the heavy stuff is on the side of the fridge toward the front of the coach, stopping will cause more issues in the fridge then accelerating. At times I might have an empty shelf but once we get set up and rearrange the fridge then all shelves have stuff on them.
