running ac with rv cover

Hey guys. I could be wrong, but can you run the ac with a full rv cover on. I was told that I couldn't. Im going to build out a full garage, but that may take another year or so. In the meantime I was going to purchase a cover. But I definitely need to know before I purchase. I live in south florida, so I will be storing plugged into a 30 amp with the a/c at 80 degrees.
Thanks
  • No, absolutely not.
Where do you thing the hot air is going to go?
  • The hot air coming through the condenser needs somewhere to go and would just build up under the cover. Probably ruin the AC unit
  • Also don't use any of the propane appliances (fridge, water heater, furnace).
  • AC set on 80 in south florida without shade, over the summer, will run non-stop.
