RV did not sell

Bingo - you can sell ANYTHING QUICKLY, with the right price.

When we were selling our old coach, I really had to swallow hard and realize it wasn't worth what *I* thought it was. It was worth what the BUYERs thought.

It came down to how badly and how quickly I wanted to sell it.


Sharing a bit more - we had a handshake deal on selling the old coach. Our lightly used coach showed up as a good deal, so we bought the new one, knowing the old coach was sold.

You guessed it - they backed out of the deal and my pucker moment was owning two RVs for some unknown time.

I knocked another $2K off the old one and aggressively pushed it. Thankfully it sold within two weeks.


Price, price, price.

I've always felt that it is the competition that determines the value of a item for sale. Good luck.

I sold two coachesin the last 8 months. Price them right and advertise them in the right locations. If you have lookers and no offer you are too high.

Price it right and looking good all around helps. We sold our travel trailer for more than what we paid for it last month.

Sometimes it takes a bit to sell and older coach. You are right people are not in the market for something that is "not exactly a good deal". Fixer uppers are one thing, scared of it is another.

Not sure what you mean by perfect. I don't think anybody expects a 21 year old coach to look like the show room. Also remember a lot of people when they come look try to make a "case" about the RV and will "insult" it the entire time to get the price down.

Price it right - the best advice I can give.

Anything will sell if it's priced to sell. If it's not reliable and had issues and it's old, the price needs to reflect that. If folks are looking for perfect then maybe you have it priced where a perfect RV would be.

If you're crossing your fingers that it won't break down, and complaining folks don't want to pay enough, then perhaps you're overpriced for what you're selling.
