- J-RoosterExplorerKOA Kent, WA. it's just off I-5 and on the Green River. Easy off and on to I-5! I've stayed there many times when I visited the VA Hospital in Seattle. Green Lake is about a 20 minute drive from Kent KOA except during the rush hour and if you have a tow vehicle and 2 people you can get into a car pool lane during rush hour and it will be O.K. The KOA sales propane and has a store on site for anything you may need. There is also a fuel station and restaurants one block from the KOA. Karen is the MGR. and this KOA is company owned.
- Executive45Explorer IIIWe stayed at the Fairgrounds in Puyallup. Close to Seattle without the headaches. IIRC about $25/night full hookups....Dennis
- ScottGNomadI would avoid the place in Snoqualmie at all costs.
Lake Pleasant RV park in Bothell is very nice and I highly suggest it. It's nearby to gas, food and shopping yet far enough away from freeways and such that it is quiet. I buy my propane there and the staff is always super nice. It;s a short trip into Seattle from there and you can take I5 (no tolls).
If you go there, ignore your GPS and dont turn until you actually see the resort. They added a streetlight and turn before it and I see people wrongly turning there all the time.
The resort is easy to find and get to.
